Casa da Galeria

The apartments had everything we needed, the breakfasts were excellent, and the location made it easy to get to the city center. We could also use the showers, pool, and sauna before check-in, which was great after getting off a red eye flight while waiting for our room. There’s a garage, but the turn and space to get into it are very tight, so we found a nearby parking lot much easier. And Host the cat was very sweet and friendly. We booked after seeing the good reviews and hearing there was a cat on the property, and we were really happy with our stay. This hotel is exceptional. 10/10, would stay again.

The team made us feel at home after a long travel day, and the owners are lovely people. When our flight was cancelled, Beatriz and the team went above and beyond: they arranged a late-night airport pickup and organized a delicious breakfast in our room so we could still make it to whale watching. They were warm, communicative, and accommodating. I wish we’d stayed longer and plan to return :)

We stayed in room 9 for two weeks in Jan of 2025 and loved it so much that we’ll book again for December/January. The room is larger and has a great kitchen with everything you need. Breakfast, parking in the garage, the bedding, shower, gym, and everything else in the room were all 10 out of 10. The location is perfect for walking around or driving out of town. My favorite part, though, was the hosts. They’re warm, welcoming, and super kind. They made our stay so good that we’re hoping to come back for two months.

Marlene is the real superpower here. She doesn’t just help when asked, she seems to anticipate what you need, with this infectious, buzzing energy that makes you feel looked after before you’ve even thought of it. Forget the concierge desk. She’s the reason we’re booking another trip. If she’s on duty, you’re in for a five-star day.
