Teresa and Nuno were incredibly welcoming, and we had a fantastic time. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We especially loved the late afternoons by the pool, with those unforgettable sunsets. The donkey Gil and the dogs, Chuinga, Beje, Biscas and Caju, added so much charm. Chuinga in particular was always ready to play and stuck close to us. This was a memorable stay at a beautifully located quinta, surrounded by olive trees, birdsong, and the sound of sheep bells. It really gives you a feel for Alentejo. The house is full of character and details that seem to tell stories, and it was always clean and well cared for. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent, with regional products. Ice cream by the pool and homemade afternoon cake with lemonade made it even more special. Nuno and Teresa (Tita) were attentive and kind from the start, and made us feel at home. We enjoyed their warmth and the easy conversations. A calm, authentic place with real hospitality. We’d gladly return and recommend it.

We loved breakfast, which was varied, delicious, and served with so much care. Nuno and Teresa were wonderful hosts, always kind, helpful, and ready to lend a hand. The quinta was quiet and peaceful, as well as comfortable and clean. For animal lovers like us, the four dogs and donkey Gil were a real delight. We had a fantastic few days at Quinta da Soneca.
