#010 Jardins Marina Holidays Flat with Shared Pool

The apartments are modern, clean, and quiet, and the old town is about a 20-minute walk away. My wife and I would have been fine here on our own, but with young kids it has been a major disappointment. We paid almost £1500 for a week self catering and have started looking elsewhere. There are strict limits on what children can do around the pool: no inflatables, balls, umbrellas, or even a very small tent to shade our 3 year old. A security guard kept appearing every few minutes to tell the kids to stop being kids. Families with young children who want to play in the pool should avoid staying here. Please make the rules for children clear online so other families know before booking.

The harbour is only about a five-minute walk away, with a nice atmosphere and a few bars and restaurants. The apartments are great, and the town is beautiful and quiet.

The marina is right at the heart of the location, and the old town is just a short walk or bus ride away. We stayed in an immaculate three-bedroom apartment that felt like sheer luxury. The pool is huge and there are plenty of sun beds. Honestly, it was the nicest place I’ve stayed, and I couldn’t fault it. I’m really sad to leave and would recommend the complex to everyone.

There’s a huge pool, though the water was bloody cold. Once you got in, it was fine. The modern two-bedroom apartment was great and highly recommended. The marina is only a 500m walk, with restaurants and bars, boat trips, and sea adventures available. I can recommend the Caves and Dolphins trip. There’s a small Spar at the marina, while Aldi and Lidl are a short drive away. You’ll need a taxi or other transport to visit Albufeira Old Town unless you’re happy climbing a hill.
