A small hotel with a really welcoming feel, and the daytime entertainment team did a great job. The staff were excellent. The evening show on Friday, though, was vulgar and awful, and not suitable for children. The girl shouting at the others on stage made no sense.

The rooms are big enough for a family of four, and the entertainment team kept the energy up all the time. The Friday pool party was a holiday highlight for all of us. Food was good quality and varied, with theme nights, meat cooked live, and outdoor BBQs a few times a week. We also liked having the snack bar for something in the afternoon or later at night. Drinks were a strong point too, with strong cocktails and daily specials. The one downside was people putting towels on the pool loungers so early. Almost every bed was taken by 6:30-7am.

We found reception helpful, and the nearest supermarket was just a five minute walk away. There’s also laundry onsite, at 4€ to wash and 3.5€ to dry. Our room had two balconies, two TVs, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and daily servicing. Air conditioning was in both the lounge and bedroom, with two ceiling fans as well. There was a clothes rail on one balcony, though clothes blew off it at night. The main pool was large and not too busy, but cold. It took a couple of minutes to get used to it. The smaller pool and newer splash play area were cold too. We preferred eating outdoors in the main dining area. The week had different food themes, which worked for me, though my wife is a picky eater. The pool bar was well placed and got busy when football was on at the weekend.

The only real bother was ants in the room. Housekeeping dealt with them quickly and they didn’t come back. We weren’t eating in there and spent most of our time at the pool, so it didn’t affect us much. We had a great week. The staff were lovely, and when we arrived at 2:30pm, after the buffet had ended and before it reopened at 6:30pm, they quickly arranged something for us to eat before check-in. The food was delicious. My nine year old loved the pool and slides, and I enjoyed Aquafun/aquagym every day, even with the cold water. The entertainment was great. We especially liked the white party, and on Saturday, our last night, there was face painting, balloons, candy floss and popcorn. My daughter made a friend, which was the highlight of her holiday. The girl was so polite and friendly, and her parents should be proud. My daughter was sad they couldn’t stay in touch, but they made some lovely videos and memories together.
