The meals were a real highlight. Silva catered to our vegan and vegetarian requirements with a varied selection of tasty, freshly cooked food, served impeccably. Yoga and the RLT massage treatments were fantastic too. After each class or treatment, we felt more like ourselves again, calmer and more relaxed after a tough year. Al-Karob sits a short way from the bustle, so it's easy to settle into the quiet and serenity of the place. The hotel has Arabic and Moroccan architectural style, with a charming boutique feel and comfort built into it. Silvia and her family have clearly poured hard work and love into the hotel. They were tireless in looking after us, from food and comfort to understanding what we wanted from our stay. We never felt a beat was missed, and I've never experienced that level of care before. I'd always thought no hotel deserved five stars, until I stayed at Al-Karob. It's a lovely piece of paradise, and Silvia's care for guests really blew us away. I wish other hotels gave this much thought to the guest experience. Thank you so much to Silvia and her family. We'll return. Paul and Amelia x

Silvia pays remarkable attention to the details and makes sure guests have a wonderful experience. We loved the yoga classes and the relaxation massage. The rooms are very comfortable, and the meals were fantastic. The hotel is excellent and highly recommended.

My Liquid Diet Detox stay at Al Karob Yoga Boutique was wonderful. The surroundings are peaceful and beautifully designed, and the massage left me feeling completely refreshed. Sylvia was so warm and caring, and made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend it if you're looking for relaxation and rejuvenation in Portugal! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I had 10 extraordinary days here, and they did me a world of good. The place is lovely: I slept well, ate well, and the breakfast was incredible. A big thank you to Silvia, such a warm and kind host, and to Neida, an amazing woman and the best yoga teacher. I highly recommend this place!

We went for a yoga retreat in November, and the personal care from Silvia and the rest of the team made us feel so well looked after. The setting is tucked away and peaceful, yet close to beaches and restaurants. Meals were amazing, and the massages were exceptional. It’s a beautiful hotel with hosts who notice every detail. My husband and I were completely happy with our stay and would love to return.
