Regina Apartamentos

The location really is great, and we had a lovely four-night stay. The apartments are basic, but clean and perfectly fine for what you need. Staff were friendly, and when my son lost his teddy monkey, the hotel staff were very helpful. We were unsure about paying the 250 security deposit at first, but had no trouble getting it back. We’ll be back.

When I got there, they said I’d booked for a different night and wouldn’t refund me. I’d reserved a room for Friday evening. I had to turn up in person just to find out they were fully booked, and staff were rude whenever I could get hold of them. The place was dirty too, and I saw cockroaches in the kitchen/lounge area.

We were a group of 19 in five apartments, and they made us pay a €1,250 guarantee deposit in cash for one night. At night, a guy was there checking everyone’s names so we wouldn’t bring anyone in. It felt like a jail, with terrible service. The place was disgusting: bugs everywhere, a dirty room, and a pillow with blood stains when we arrived. I’m adding photos. Worst stay I’ve had. DONT BOOK!!

There was a friendly woman at reception, and the cleaning women seemed nice, but the rest of this was a really upsetting experience. We were told the deposit was €250, then the receptionist accepted €200 in cash. A few days later, a drawer that was already loose broke when my friend pulled it open. The manager said it was worth €600 and demanded another €450 without showing proof or receipts. When we questioned the charge, he threatened to call the police. He also asked for the other €50 from the original deposit, though he’d never mentioned it before. It all felt aggressive, unfair and unprofessional. Avoid if you care about transparency and respectful treatment.
