Aqua Pedra dos Bicos Design Beach Hotel - Adults Friendly

We went for Valentine's and were welcomed back with a bottle of wine. They also surprised us with chocolate desserts in a beautiful gift box and a couples quiz game. We booked a couples massage too, and it was fantastic. The hotel, location and staff were all excellent. Highly recommend, and we WILL be back!

This was our fourth time back at the hotel, and my wife and I had our best Valentine's weekend yet. The staff always put in extra effort to make our stay special. Thanks again for a lovely holiday, we'll definitely return 😘

We've just come back from our sixth holiday at Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos, and it was fabulous again. We like the area because it's close to what we need while still being quiet. The garden walk and the steps down to the beach are beautiful, about 100 steps, and there's a nice Beach Caffe down there overlooking the sea. We often walk to the Old Town and back, roughly 25 minutes, though it's hilly and helps us keep fit after all the delicious food. The buffet dinner is a favorite for its range of food, desserts and fruit, but especially for the staff. We've got to know many of them over the years. They're friendly, know their regional wines and are kind when we try a few words in Portuguese. Breakfast has lots to choose from, including cheese, meats, breads, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cooked options, pastries and juices. I sometimes have Buck’s Fizz. The food is checked and replenished with fresh items even when it's busy. The hotel is immaculately clean from the moment you enter reception. The rooms are beautiful, all with balconies, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The reception team are so helpful and friendly, especially manager Liliana, who always goes above and beyond to make sure we have what we need. In our opinion it's an exceptional hotel, and we'll definitely be back soon.

We spent five nights here and had a great experience from the friendly welcome at reception through the rest of our stay. The room was spacious, modern and clean, with adjustable lighting and a balcony facing the sea and surrounding area. It caught the sun perfectly. The air conditioning was fast and almost silent, and the mini coffee machine came with very good pods that were regularly topped up. Furnishings were spotless, and the bathroom showed no wear. The hotel design was impressive, especially the spiral staircase up to a lobby with a grand piano and bar. The breakfast and dinner room faces the outdoor pool and relaxation area, with sunny outdoor seating. We were out a lot and didn't get to try dinner. A lovely beach with a restaurant and bar is about an 8 minute walk away. We'd happily stay again and recommend it.
