I spent four days here on my own in my 40s, and for the €300 I paid for all inclusive, it felt like a hidden gem: beachfront, sea view, free transport, and food and drinks included. The staff were fantastic, the place was clean and comfortable, the food was good, and the drinks were strong. It has a safe, secure feel, and the hot meals were decent quality every day. The hotel has an old-fashioned look and a slow pace, and most guests seemed to be over 60. The outdoor pools were cold during my March visit, which was expected, but the pool areas were clean and there was food and drink service at the bar and restaurant throughout the day. The smaller indoor pool was warm at 29° and clean. Entertainment was okay, though I was out most of the time. There were activities advertised for day and night, and the hotel can book tours and boat trips. I recommend the Tuk-Tuk tour and the cave and dolphin-watching tours. Getting around is easy enough if you can manage the stairs. The hotel is laid out over several levels, which some people may find charming, and staff seemed willing to help guests get about. The location gives good beach access, a free shuttle takes about 10 minutes, and the walk along the beach to the Old Town takes 20-30 minutes. The Strip is about a 10-minute walk uphill, with nightclubs, pubs and bars, and the marina is roughly a gentle 40-minute walk away, with bars, restaurants, colourful buildings and activities. A €100 card deposit is required on arrival. They said it would be credited back within a few days after departure, so keep an eye on your account. The hotel isn't for anyone expecting marble, glass balconies, an infinity pool or Michelin-star style. But if you want a clean, friendly, straightforward place, this was a good stay.

The beach is right by the hotel, and you can head straight out to enjoy great views of the ocean and coast. The service was polite and pleasant, with staff ready to help and no problems during our stay. It's a three-star place, but it was a pleasant surprise. Our room was small, though enough for two, and I liked that every room has a balcony. We only ate breakfast there. The selection stayed the same, but it was all fresh, with fruit, vegetables, pastries, sandwiches, sausages, ham and cheese. We were happy with the stay.

This was our third visit, and we'd stay again. The views from the room, restaurant and pool are lovely, and the quiet location and relaxing restaurant atmosphere suit us. There's entertainment every day, and the food had plenty of choice and was decent, though sometimes it could have been warmer. The check-in desk staff were helpful when we arrived and when we left. Some rooms could use an upgrade. Our shower worked well, but the head leaked and the curtain let water onto the floor. The balcony was great, though getting the door open took a slam and a shoulder charge. A kettle in the room would be nice, and a long phone cable helps if you want your phone beside the bed, since some bedside tables don't have a nearby socket. The indoor pool is small but adequate when there aren't groups using it. The good points outweigh the drawbacks for us.

The staff are welcoming, the food is enjoyable, and the place is very clean. I especially liked the beachside location and the wonderful balcony views. It's a three-star hotel, though the property feels dated and could use maintenance and renovation. With so many stairs, it may be difficult for guests with mobility limitations or disabilities.

We really enjoyed the low-rise buildings, which made the place feel like home, and the location is amazing. The food was fantastic all week, always fresh, with lots to choose from. We couldn't find a dish we didn't like. There were plenty of activities and the animation team was great. The indoor pool is very small and seemed to be used mostly by kids. Everything else was 100% for us, and we'll definitely return. A special thanks to Pedro on buffet service, a hardworking, dedicated young guy who's always happy to help.
