Charming 1-bed Beach Apartment in Albufeira

David made the stay especially easy. He and his colleague handled check-in smoothly over WhatsApp, and David was generous with advice for my first trip to Portugal, from places to visit to things that made working remotely more comfortable. I used a lot of his tips. The apartment was clean, sunny, quiet, comfortable, and felt safe. After a few weeks here on a digital nomad trip, I was calling it home. The beach is just a couple of minutes down the hill, so I walked there every morning. The pool area was lovely too, and I could always find a spot, unlike some hotel pools nearby that seemed packed all the time. Albufeira old town took about 15 minutes on foot, and I went several times. I liked being able to return somewhere peaceful away from the club noise. The newer part of town is closer, though I didn't spend much time there, and I was glad the apartment was also quiet at night. You can manage without a car if you're staying in Albufeira, but the Algarve has lots of varied towns to explore. With Albufeira so central, having a car was great for seeing more of the region. Parking was easy and secure, with gates and special key fobs for the community. Thanks for such a lovely stay and a great introduction to Portugal and the Algarve!

The view and the peace are still what I love here, after 12 years of coming back. I've said for ages that it could use a bar, though, and the uphill walk to the strip and beyond feels tougher every year. 😞

The host was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. The property is clean, well stocked, and handily placed right in the centre.
