The breakfast was okay, and everything else was fine. The evening receptionist was especially friendly, polite, and professional. Leaving was a different story. With a long line of guests waiting to check out, the receptionist kept chatting with people who had already been served, so things took longer than necessary. That was the most disappointing part of our stay and left us with a bad final impression.

I spent a month here in Feb 2026 on an All Inclusive stay while training for athletics, and it worked really well as a base for a training camp away from the snow. The apartment made everyday life easy so I could focus on training. It was modern and comfortable, with a full kitchen, views over the pine forest, pool, or sports center, and reliable WiFi throughout. The facilities for training are the main draw. The 400 m track works for all track and field disciplines. Between the hotel’s sports center, the Açoteias Cross Track, and the nearby high performance Albufeira Training Camp for throwers, an elite athlete has what they need. There's also a football pitch, tennis and padel courts, a well equipped hotel gym, space to recover, and nightly entertainment. At the Podium Restaurant there was a good range of Portuguese and international dishes, and the buffet was always topped up. It was easy to meet my nutritional needs as an athlete. Restaurant and hotel staff were consistently friendly, available, and helpful. Too many supportive staff to name, and they really add to the positive training atmosphere. Comfort and professional level training facilities make a great combination here. It's well suited to a long training block, and families looking for a sporty holiday should enjoy it too.

Been here twice already, and I'll be back soon 😍 The vibe with all the young sport people is amazing, and the hotel has everything. The sauna gets really hot, and the ice bath is amazing too. Pedro, the manager, is a really nice person and helped with everything. Best hotel!

The bar could be easier to use. Quite often the doors weren't open or there was nobody there to serve a drink. Maybe that's because we were there out of season. You could pour your own soft drinks, juices, coffee, wine, sangria, and beer, though the beer was hard to pour well. Everything else was a big plus for us. The room was very large, quiet, and spotlessly clean. All the staff were absolutely lovely. Martha and JoJo from entertainment made us feel so welcome that we joined in with the games, even though we don't usually take part in holiday entertainment. They remembered our names from when they first met us, too. The food was amazing, with loads of choice at every meal and delicious cakes. I'm a fussy vegetarian and didn't expect to eat as much as I did. I'd highly recommend it even if sports aren't your thing. If you are into sports, the facilities looked great and you'll love it even more.
