Fantastic apartment Salgados Beach

The rooms were very large and everything was perfect. The big bedroom was quiet around the bed. Thanks to the owner for everything, including letting us check out later because our flight was in the evening. We’ll happily come back. Thank you!

This is an amazing place, but it could use some care. The apartments are 15 years old and it shows. There’s a lot here, but the owners shouldn’t treat it like an investment property and leave it without maintenance. To the 'owner': your reply says a lot about how you operate 😊 Yes, I’m in apt. 8, but you run it under one name, so reviews are posted under one name too. I’m reviewing the place under that name, not individual hotel rooms.

A very well kept, gated condominium with several pools. Everything is in great condition.

The pools were filthy, with bugs and debris floating in the water. I complained twice, but nothing was done. We also had almost no Wi-Fi for a week. Reception said they were working on it, and apparently it took more than a week to fix. The room smelled horribly of sewage. There were no towels at first, though they were brought later, and no shower gel when we arrived. Restaurant bookings had to be made online, which wasn't possible for us, and we were required to choose meal times at least four hours ahead. The living-room sofa is a sofa bed, and you can feel the metal frame when you sit on it. Be careful. Of the amenities listed on Booking, there was no safe, the phone didn't work, there was no desk, and no cable channels. The minibar was just a fridge with water. When you're paying more than 4000,00€ for a family holiday, these things shouldn't happen.
