The villa feels tired and needs upgrading. The washing machine door needs lifting to shut, one pool ladder step is too far down, and the covers on the pool beds are split and fill with rainwater. The villa is attached to another one, so noise from the neighbours carries.

A beautiful traditional Portuguese house in a very peaceful countryside setting, yet still close to Albufeira centre, about five minutes by car.

We expected more from the photos, since the place felt older in person and quite a few things were worn. It wasn't very clean when we arrived either, with ants in both the bathroom and kitchen. The terrace gets so brightly lit by the streetlights at night that it wasn't comfortable to sit there, and the bedroom window was bright too. The mattresses were very soft and left us with back pain. The terrace windows, like the bathroom ones, had coverings instead of clear panes. What a shame for this finca. We felt the price was much too high and weren't as happy as we'd expected. Other holiday resorts we've stayed at were better and cheaper. At home, we live in a luxury bungalow in top condition and pay the bank almost three times as much each month.
