Helena was a lovely host, quick to respond and living in the main house on the property. She left us beach towels and a few snacks. The home has been in her family for 100 years, and the three apartments feel private and distinctive. We had the smallest one, facing the main road, but its little courtyard helped buffer the noise. It was spotless and recently decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and A/C. Closing the storm shutters and blackout curtains gave us quiet, restful nights. There’s a large parking area right by the door, and the shared rooftop deck has plenty of loungers and wide views. Old town is a short walk away, as is a sandy, stepped path down to the nearby beach, where you can rent chairs, stroll or swim. Just be aware that all the apartments have some steps if accessibility is a concern. We stayed a week and would love to return.

It’s a house with real history and character, and we enjoyed staying there. Elena has thought of so many guest needs, even leaving an umbrella and beach towels. The room and bathroom were spotless and spacious, with lovely quality towels, and having a washing machine was really handy. It’s the most thoughtfully designed place I’ve stayed in.

The host was so lovely and the service was hard to fault. Our apartment was spotless and really nice. It’s a perfect spot, just a two-minute walk to the beach and about fifteen minutes on foot to old town. I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about.

A peaceful spot, about fifteen minutes on foot from the Old Town and five minutes from the beach. Getting down to the beach means taking some fairly steep steps, or walking a little farther along the road for a flatter route. The place was spotless, had all the amenities, and the sun terrace was beautiful, with loungers, relaxed seating and a dining table.
