Hotel Cerro da Marina

Everything is spotless, inside and out, and the hotel is wonderfully peaceful. It's a small, friendly place on a steep hill at the edge of Albufiera, and easily the quietest hotel we've stayed in. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, though we didn't have dinner. There's not much nearby unless you walk about 15 minutes into Albufiera. For a calm, relaxing break, it's a gem.

The beds were comfortable, no back pain, and the rooms were nice. We also enjoyed the friendly service, pool and good breakfast buffet. The hotel is a little way from the centre, which meant the loud bass from the main beach didn't disturb our sleep. I'd have liked stronger coffee at breakfast, but we had an excellent stay and would definitely return if we visit the region again.

We had a great stay and would come back. The rooms are nicely decorated and equipped, and the clean, well-kept pool area was a pleasure. We were half board and found the food very good, not top-end, but more than enough. Staff were polite and attentive. It's away from the main tourist area, which suited a quieter holiday. The town centre and marina are a short walk away, though the hill is worth considering if you're less mobile. The only dampener was a group of lads on a stag do who stayed for a couple of days and lowered the relaxed feel a bit. That wasn't the hotel's fault.

We came to Cerro Marina for my wife's birthday and had a fantastic stay. The adult-only hotel was peaceful, and we'd love to return. Rooms were spacious, cleaned daily, and reception could provide whatever we needed. The pool area was lovely and spread out, so there was plenty of room. Breakfast had loads of choice, and the honesty bar was handy for drinks and snacks by the pool. The main drawback is the steep hill. If mobility is an issue, you may need an Uber to get to Old Town and the beach, though it's only about 4 1/2 euros.
