Leonel was a thoughtful host, always polite and attentive, and nothing seemed too much trouble. He even left us fruit and wine as a welcome gift, which we really appreciated. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday. We had a lovely time and are already looking forward to coming back. One of the best apartments we’ve stayed in. The owner pressures customers to pay a deposit four months before arrival. He also removes comments that aren’t five stars. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this person.

We’d already booked our plane tickets, so having the owner give our place to someone else was a huge inconvenience. We arranged the stay privately so he could avoid booking site fees, and hadn’t paid a deposit immediately because a booking site wouldn’t charge us until 30 days before arrival. The owner said it was a “mistake” that someone else booked after us. He should have honored our earlier booking. It felt very unfair and disappointing.
