The staff were excellent, and there was plenty of parking with restaurants nearby. But the nights were extremely noisy, with racing cars and loud music from somewhere close by continuing well past midnight. The rooms need updating. There were lots of ants, very few towels, just one tiny bar of soap, a poor choice of cooking utensils, mildew in the showers, and holes in the sheets. No restaurant was open.

We've stayed in these lovely apartments in Portugal twice. They're clean and comfortable, with pubs, cafes, restaurants, and nightlife within walking distance. We'd highly recommend a visit.

The pool and pool bar were lovely, and the bar serves food too. The hotel is well placed, with bars and restaurants close by, a very good Chinese restaurant across the road, the strip a 10-minute walk away, and the old town about 20 minutes on foot. We stayed for 10 days and had a few initial teething problems, but the efficient, friendly staff sorted them out quickly. The only real downsides were no clothes dryer on the balcony, no net curtains for privacy, and bedding that wasn't changed during our stay. I'd definitely stay again.

The rooms are old and dated, and there was only one restaurant open, serving breakfast. We were promised a queen bed, but when we arrived, it turned out to be two single beds pushed together. That wasn't acceptable for newlyweds. Beer at the pool bar cost 6E, compared with 3.5E at most local restaurants. There are no ice machines, so you have to get ice from the pool bar, which has limited opening hours.

The location is good, parking is easy, and the staff are friendly. The hotel is decent but very dated and needs a lot of renovation. The room had the basics, but everything felt worn. The WiFi hardly ever worked. There were lots of groups of young people drinking in the pool, including the kids' pool, and they could get quite rowdy at times.
