Apartamentos Turísticos Pateo Village

We had a huge room with a fridge, oven, and great air conditioning. Rooms can be cleaned daily if you want. We like to sleep in, so we put up the do not disturb sign most days and nobody knocked. There's also a 24/7 shop at reception for water and basics. It was a lovely week in September, and the resort wasn't too busy. Plenty of sunbeds were free. There are two outdoor pools, one shallower for kids, plus an open-plan indoor pool right beside them that's warmer, and a hot tub. The pool bar had lovely food and drinks. A toasted sandwich with chips was €5, and a burger with chips was €8. It's a small resort, so no room is far from the pool. Nights were quiet, and it felt like a mix of families and older people rather than a party hotel. Bolt rides cost €4 to the old town strip, or it's a 15-minute walk. The port, a lovely area, was also €4 by taxi, and the new town was about €7-10. The old town has more restaurants, little shops, bars, and a few clubs. The new town is full of clubs and younger people. Lovely accommodation, 10/10 recommend.

We got to the apartment at 20-30 on Monday, and the man at the desk was so friendly and helpful. He even opened the shop so we could get some water. The apartment is really spacious and comfortable, with everything you need, even tea towels. The indoor and outdoor pools are fabulous, and there's always plenty of sunbeds. Everyone's friendly, and even the maids have smiles on their faces. We're definitely booking here again. A taxi to the old town is €3.70. It's a bit far for me to walk, but I'm old lol, younger people would be fine.

The uncomfortable bed and very lumpy pillows were the one downside for us, but we could get over that because everything else was perfect. We stayed a week with our two sons, aged 6 and 13. The place was very clean and well maintained, with a lovely family feel. The indoor pool was great at 34 degrees, so my son could play for hours without me worrying about him getting burnt. The marina, a must-see hidden gem, and the old town were both five minutes away by taxi.

We spent 11 days here. The accommodation was fabulous, and the reception staff were lovely. Would highly recommend.
