I was comfortable here with my husband, so yes, I’d stay again. It’s a short walk from the old town center, and the balcony views are stunning. The staff were pleasant and polite, and when we left, the receptionist gave me a thoughtful little gift and apologized for the roadworks. There are roadworks at the moment, September 2025, but that can’t be helped. The bar beneath the hotel serves lovely pints. It’s a lovely little big place, if that makes sense, but there are lots of stairs and no lift, so it wouldn’t suit someone with a disability. We had cold water in the shower and a sewer smell in the bathroom. I told reception, and they dealt with it. After that the shower was hot whatever time of day, and the smell was gone. The beds were comfortable and spotless. There’s no fridge or kettle in the room, and it could do with a kettle. It says bed and breakfast, but we didn’t see or use the breakfast. Coffee is available at reception, but it’s not very nice. There’s a sandwich place down the road with lovely coffee and toasties. I’d give it 7/10.

We’re both very happy we chose this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff were professional and accommodating, and it felt like a five-star hotel experience. The spacious room was very clean and had everything we needed. The lobby and rooms have an authentic Portuguese charm, with beautiful tiles and design. I’d highly recommend it, you’re sure to love it here!

The rooms are basic, but very clean and really all you need. We had an amazing ocean view, and they gave us a little bracelet as we were leaving, such a sweet touch. The staff took great care of us, and checking in late after hours was easy. Cold fresh lemon water at reception was lovely after walking around in the heat. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, but the walk into town was lovely. I’d 100 percent recommend staying here xxx

The room and pool both look out over an incredible view. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful, especially when we asked about checking in early and checking out. A lovely place for a relaxing stay with great scenery. I'd highly recommend it.
