The hosts were excellent and always around if we needed anything extra. We had a really relaxing stay, with a lovely pool and a great apartment in a quiet area. The Marina is walkable, and there's a bus stop at the end of the road for trips into Albufeira and around the old town.

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the shared pool, though small, is a real plus. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the city centre, and we had a great time overall. I'd come back and hope the cleaning issues get sorted out. The room cleanliness was the main letdown. There was a strong musty bathroom smell that made it hard to breathe, black mold marks across the ceiling, a completely black shower curtain that needed replacing, and hair on the toilet. The pillows were folded away in the closet on the floor and had stains. There were only two sets of towels for three of us, and no spare trash bags or anything to wash dishes with. The fridge was very old and kept food very cold. A shared kitchen for making breakfast would have been useful. There's a grill in the backyard, but no rack, coals, or firewood. The prices are reasonable, and it's a nice place for a group to relax. I'd recommend it, with the hope that the cleanliness gets addressed.

The apartment is nice and well equipped, and the location is great. The pool is lovely too. Hygiene needs attention, though: the bathroom smelled bad and there was hair in the sheets. Parking is tight, so you'll need to be confident behind the wheel.
