A relaxing, sun-soaked beach and pool break, with free entertainment each night. We stayed at Algarve Gardens, set in the lovely grounds of ALFAMAR, and the budget accommodation was fantastic value (see my previous review). It also includes access to Alfamar's facilities, including a private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and a spa. The rooms are basic but spotless, thanks to the great housekeeping staff.

This has turned into a horrible stay. In the V2 2017 house there are cockroaches, and cleaning is done without a vacuum. We often have no hot water, can't turn on the kitchen tap, and there's no air conditioning. I was there from 13 to 18 September 2020. Eduardo Portela Jurist

Really bad. The place is falling apart because nothing is being invested in it, and the staff seem unmotivated. Cleaning is poor, and the studios aren't cleaned on weekends. The kitchenette has no cloths, dish soap, or tea towel.

The location is excellent. I did find the abandoned houses a bit odd.

It's a real shame that some residents can be so mean and kick us out.
