Vista Das Ondas

The pool beside the apartment was great for our kids. There were lots of sun loungers, but only a few parasols, so we had to get one early by leaving a towel on it. The tall hedge also gave plenty of shade if you didn’t want to bother with a parasol. We stayed a week with Algarve Sunshine Holidays and had a wonderful time. The apartment was quiet at night, about a 20-minute walk from our favorite beach, and only seven minutes from a large supermarket. There were plenty of Ubers for an easy, affordable trip to Old Town. Inside, everything was clean and fully equipped, and we appreciated the welcome wine, water, and snacks. The living room AC didn’t work very well, so we spent most of our time in the two bedrooms, where it worked perfectly. There are two bathrooms, though we avoided the smaller one because its toilet flush was unreliable. Bring a fire stick for the TV, since it only has Portuguese channels, with no international options. The host was responsive and helpful throughout, and we’d happily stay again.
