W Algarve

Eliana at the front desk made our stay memorable with a thoughtful surprise. I mentioned in passing that I liked a particular traditional Algarve pastry, and the next day we found a selection in our room with a handwritten note saying they knew we enjoyed them and wanted to give us a treat. She was warm, attentive, and sincere from check-in onward. Pedro and João from the valet team were welcoming and professional too. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the calm, spacious outdoor areas, which balance the hotel's striking modern style. Evaristo Beach is just below the hotel and can be reached on foot, but it is small and rocky, so perhaps not ideal for families with young children. The two large pools may make up for the underwhelming beach. The W Algarve is impressive, but its people are what made it special for us. Thanks to Eliana and the whole team for a memorable stay.

Our birthday weekend was made special by the people at W Algarve. We arrived to a genuinely warm welcome from the whole team and stayed in a lovely multi-level suite with a private plunge pool. It was the kind of place that made us slow down and enjoy being there. The weather wasn't perfect, but it didn't take away from the experience. Dinner at Vino by Paper Moon was another highlight. The food was exceptional, and Lory looked after us so well throughout the evening. The cuisine, atmosphere, and service all came together beautifully. Diogo and Carina from the Insider team, Cassie, and everyone on the “Whatever/Whenever” team handled every detail with warmth and professionalism. I found the room modern, beautifully designed, and fitted with excellent facilities and quality hardware. It felt brand new and well maintained. The reception team were especially welcoming, professional, and attentive, and the service stayed warm and friendly throughout. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a perfect resort if you want to relax and spend the whole day on the property. Highly recommended.
