Comporta Villas & Suites

The man who answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked some questions about the website and he told me, “Go find somewhere else to book.”

Fantastic pool, and a very nice house.

Really nice place, and very good value.

The room itself was fine, with its own bathroom, but the shared kitchen and living room meant sharing space with guests I didn’t know. Nobody cleaned the apartment or replaced the towels and sheets during our stay. I think that should be made clear before booking. The TV and coffee machine didn’t work, and one blind wouldn’t go up. I booked through booking.com, and after the reservation was confirmed and non-refundable, they told me the room had only one bed and they couldn’t provide two. They wouldn’t let me cancel. It’s also very isolated in the countryside, with nowhere to walk to, so you need a car for everything. Maybe it could work for a group of friends, but I won’t be back as a couple. A shame.
