We especially liked the natural swimming pool, the scientific exposition, and all the hiking nearby. The river view is lovely, though it gets noisy in the day. At night it’s completely quiet apart from natural sounds. The renovated rooms are spacious, clean and newly furnished. Staff were ready to help pretty much anytime. The restaurant is well equipped and inexpensive, with simple food during the day and lots of cocktails. They even opened the kitchen for us when we were the only guests there all evening. Breakfast was basic, but perfectly fair, and we enjoyed it. It seems the management changed very recently, so reviews from previous years may no longer apply.

It's disappointing to see a place with so much potential explored so poorly. The menu only has drinks, canned peanuts and ice cream, with no other food available.

The information was out of date. It was closed, so the trip was for nothing.

For a stopover during a very long trip, this hotel does the job. It’s right beside a lovely river beach, a real plus in summer, though there aren’t any restaurants nearby. The hotel’s restaurant is open for very limited hours, and breakfast is extremely basic.
