The beachside setting is amazing, and the hosts are friendly, though they don’t speak English. Sadly, that’s where the positives end. The place feels run down, with rust and overgrown plants around the property and on the room balcony. The WiFi barely works, and the terrace is shared with three other rooms without any privacy. There are no umbrellas for shade outside during the day, and we had no hot water in the shower. Breakfast was poor, and check-in is at 4pm, so plan your day around that. I wanted to like it because the location and view are so good, but the property seems neglected. For 140€ a night, it was a very poor stay.

The balcony view over the ocean is hard to beat. Our room was large, though a bit dated, and we didn’t mind that. Staff were kind and ready to help. There are a few bars and restaurants, including beach bars, within walking distance, and Nazare is about a 25 minute drive away. Such a beautiful spot, and we’d absolutely stay again.

My mom had recently lost her beloved husband, my dad, and came to Portugal from another country to visit me. They had dreamed of coming here together and spending a weekend by the ocean, but sadly she had to come alone. We’re very grateful to the friendly staff, the lovely view, and the wonderful experience. They also let us check in early, with the receptionist coming in especially to meet us outside the usual check-in hours. Thank you so much.

We didn’t eat at the hotel, but the drinks were generous and inexpensive. It’s a nice place to relax before dinner, with a great beach view and a fantastic beach nearby with a fun, cheap beach bar. The hotel is simple and clean, with a small pool and a kids’ room that make it good for children. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again.

A budget hotel with a pleasant ocean view. Parking was easy, there are a few pubs close by, and Maringha grande is a reasonable distance away. The staff were friendly. I can recommend it for a business trip.
