Maurice and Sandra were fantastic hosts. It’s a lovely rural spot for either a short visit or a longer stay. The houses are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The sports hall is a nice feature, and the goats and Guinea pigs make the stay more fun.

We stayed in the lovely Casa Palmeira, set in a lush garden, and had a wonderful time at Casa Cantiga. It’s a good base for day trips to both popular sights and lesser-known ones. The casa and resort are well equipped, with plenty of toys and places for children to explore. Since it was early spring, the pool was closed and there were no shared activities because no other guests were there yet. Maurice and Sandra were easy to reach and very helpful. We hope to come back in summer.

We stayed three days with our daughters, who are 17 and 1, and loved it so much we didn’t want to leave after arriving. The parks, pool, and surroundings were amazing. The “baby pack” had exactly what we needed for our one-year-old. Such a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the nature around us. We’ll definitely be back, and the hosts were amazing too.

We’ve been here twice now, and this time brought friends along. The sunny afternoons by the amazing pool were a highlight. There’s a big garden, a barbecue area, lots of toys, and animals for the kids. Sandra and Maurice are great hosts. Casa Cantiga is a lovely choice for a quiet family break close to nature, especially with children. We’ll be back!

My son and I spent a week at Casa Cantiga and never got bored. We swam, played basketball, golf, and table tennis, and fed the cute guinea pigs, goats, and chickens. We also took walks in the cozy village nearby. The owners are kind and friendly. It’s about an hour by car from Lisbon’s airport and under 20 minutes from Nazare and its wonderful beach. I can strongly recommend Casa Cantiga to couples and families with young children.
