The saltwater pool was a real plus, clean and refreshing, with plenty of loungers. There’s also a covered spot for table tennis, darts, and other games, which was great for staying active in the shade. And making our own pizzas for a cosy night, then baking them in the wood-fired oven, was fun and delicious for all ages. We came as a family of two adults and two teenagers and had loads of room in this comfortable three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. It can easily fit seven without feeling cramped. The thick walls and shutters kept it cool during the day, and the evenings naturally cooled to around 16-18 degrees in summer, so we never missed air conditioning. Silja and Jan gave us a warm welcome and plenty of useful tips, from restaurants and activities to nearby fitness centres. The owner lives on the property but is never intrusive, stays discreetly in the background, and is readily available for questions or technical issues. A fantastic place for peace, comfort, and good company in beautiful surroundings.

Silja and Jan were the heart of our lovely family holiday. They were friendly, responsive, and made the stay so enjoyable. The house is beautiful and set in lovely natural surroundings, with a large swimming pool and a great area to play and relax, including a big dining table. Thank you both!

The houses are roomy and comfortable for seven people, and the heated pool is chlorine-free. It’s a peaceful, stunning location, with plenty of nearby historical sights that are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Silja and Jan deserve an extra star. They were always available with insider tips that saved us a lot of time. Jan sorted out technical issues straight away, and Silja even called specifically to arrange a vegan menu for our daughter. We’ll definitely return.
