We loved having breakfast on the balcony each morning, looking out over the bay. João and Luz Marina prepared a wonderful continental breakfast and were genuinely kind and helpful, always looking out for our comfort. Vistalmar São Martinho is a lovely Bed and Breakfast in a quiet, gated setting away from the busier tourist area, though the beach is just a short walk downhill. Our apartment was spacious, clean and nicely updated, and the whole property is meticulously maintained. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we hated to leave.

The hosts made us feel so welcome, almost like staying with friends. We had a great room and a generous breakfast, and the location is fantastic, close to the beach and just a few minutes from the village. Highly recommended. I’d happily come back anytime!

A comfortable place to unwind, with spotless rooms and bathrooms and new, well-kept spaces. Breakfast was good, complete and varied, and the price was affordable. The location is excellent, just a few meters from the beach, with an unbeatable view across the whole bay. Perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset.

Waking up to the sea and that incomparable view, with the sound of the waves and so much peace, is the best. It’s a magical, welcoming place, and the service is unbeatable. The owners are lovely, and the beautiful house is full of carefully chosen details. The areas are clean and lovely, and breakfast is delicious and varied. We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in Portugal. 100% recommended.
