We had a great stay here during our summer holiday in Portugal. It’s very clean and has a calm, relaxing feel. The pool area was peaceful, and other guests were discreet and respectful. Staff were professional and the food was good. The location keeps you out of the tourist crowds but is still central enough for visiting key attractions in Portugal. We used the billiards, tennis and pool, and found parking convenient. Alcobaça is close by for shopping, dinner or a walk. We didn’t try the spa this time, but everything else was excellent.

A lovely choice for a quiet, relaxing break. With the SPA and other amenities available, it makes a great place for a short romantic escape.

We told them it was our anniversary, and they decorated the room specially for us. Such a nice touch. The surroundings are beautiful, and the hotel is well placed between Alcobaça and Nazaré. Some details around the hotel and spa need touching up, so a bit of renovation would help. Apart from that, everything was great.

Just rating the spa here. The service was fabulous, really attentive, with top notch products and methods. The water therapy circuit is small but ample, and includes a sauna and Turkish bath. I left feeling like a million bucks!

The surroundings are lovely and the pool area is amazing, but there was no service there in July, and they clearly need more staff. Breakfast was great, though once again it was all on one person. Management needs to improve service standards: poor organisation and communication between reception and housekeeping meant we arrived late to a wedding, which was the main reason for our weekend at the hotel. The rooms look beautiful, but aren’t practical. The suite’s bathtub is hard to get into and could be dangerous for older people.
