This is a two-bedroom apartment, not a hotel with shared areas or a hostel, and you might end up sharing it with a stranger. About 30 minutes after we arrived, the door opened and someone we didn't know walked in. We were both shocked, and the other guest was too. He called right away to say this wasn't how the listing described things, but was told he could leave without getting a refund. We were told the arrangement was clearly explained in the description and that we should read it ourselves. The other guest was Portuguese, so there wasn't a language barrier. The earlier reviews seem fair about the property, but most are from families and didn't mention this setup. To me, the place and management were dishonest. I could say more, but you get the idea.

A really pleasant place, with such welcoming staff. Great for a few days of rest with the family.

I liked the apartment. It had a bedroom, a living room with a TV, and a kitchenette, and was very pleasant. There's a pool too. Sergio was very attentive, as was his wife. A lovely place to relax.

It wasn't a great stay. The room had its own bathroom, but was in a two-bedroom home with a shared living room and kitchen, plus another resident in the second room. There wasn't much privacy.

A really cozy, clean space, and a great place to unwind or spend a few days with family. The owner was very kind and attentive. I'd definitely stay again!
