The hosts were welcoming and quick to help, and the property is in a lovely spot. The outdoor area looked great, but it rained throughout our four days, so we couldn't use it.

We never got to stay. Our reservation, made a month ahead, was cancelled on July 25, the night before we were due to arrive. They'd asked me about our arrival time just two days earlier, then cancelled without explaining why. Since it was high season, everything in Sintra within our budget was booked, so we had to stay in Lisbon and pay twice as much. I was extremely disappointed.

The room felt humid, which was the downside. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was awesome.

We loved it. The place was really clean and so peaceful.
