The surprise for us was the food: a superb breakfast came with the stay, and you could request a top-notch gourmet dinner that still felt home cooked. There was also a well-stocked honor bar in the lovely library and lounge. The sauna was the best ever, and the pool, landscaping, and views were beautiful. During two weeks in Portugal, Amaria was easily our most serene and comfortable stop. The resort and its setting were gorgeous and tranquil, and the room had great linens, plenty of space, comfortable upholstered seating, an easy-to-light fireplace and wood stove with plenty of wood, and airy views.

A wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature, good company, and a glass of wine. The breakfast was amazing and the dinners homemade. The whole team was kind, helpful, and supportive. The sauna and the fireplace in the room were both magical. We hope to return someday.

The rooms at Amaria were clean, with cozy, comfortable beds, and the breakfasts were amazing. Everything felt both beautiful and comfortable, with stylish design throughout, and the price seemed fair. My wife and I want to give a special THANK YOU to the CREATORS, Nuno and Phoebe. They made their dream real by funding, designing, and building the hotel, and filled it with their sense of style, harmony with nature, beauty, and efficiency. Our stay made us happier. Thank you!❤️

The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good, and the staff made us feel comfortable. You can get coffee and cake anytime, which is a lovely touch, and the Morning Yoga session is worth trying. The hosts were very friendly and the hotel is nicely designed. It's a peaceful area without many tourists, with beaches nearby and a nice pool, big garden, and sauna. You can hike from the hotel to the beach. The nearest restaurants are about a 10-15 minute drive away.

The food at the hotel was so good, huge thanks to the chef for making our stay even nicer. From the hilltop setting, we could look over the valley toward the ocean, and hearing the waves made it even more special. We loved it from the moment we arrived. It was a dream stay, and we'd come back anytime. Already looking forward to it, thank you!
