We found Arrifana Destination Suites online before leaving Colorado, USA, but held off on booking because we didn't know which town we'd be staying in once we reached Portugal. After arriving in Arrifana, we fell in love with the town and surf break, then chose to stay here. What a little treasure! Our suite had a king bed, heated floors and a spectacular view. It felt luxurious. Sem hosted us and was wonderful, fitting us in at the last minute. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the lovely people staying in both the suites and hostel. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely return to enjoy your little slice of heaven in the back yard. Tamiko & Tony

One of the best nights of my entire stay was when Valentina and Nuno were serving at the bar. They were both friendly and polite, and got the delicious drinks ready really quickly. I'd recommend them 10000%.

We stayed here at the end of May, and as a young couple in our 70s, we thought it was good value and enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly, and the cleaning was efficient. Breakfast was a pretty good buffet with fruit, yogurt, scrambled or boiled eggs, charcuterie, cheese, bread and cakes, though they could have used more help at busy times. You can also choose to have a smaller breakfast served in your room or on the patio, if you have one. The soundproofing isn't perfect, but it didn't bother us.

Receptionist Sem was so helpful and friendly, and quickly built a rapport with us and the other guests. We stayed in the Pousada, in double rooms, for a very enjoyable couple of nights. The rooms were really comfortable, the beach is just below in a great location, and breakfast was great. It had a lively feel without being noisy, and we liked mixing with guests young and old. At 75, we were the oldest! We'll certainly be back next year.
