Quinta Reuffurth

The owner is absolutely the best, and the setting is so relaxing, surrounded by nature. Our favorite place of all!

I keep coming back to Quinta Reuffurth, and it's the scenery and the friendly people who run it that bring me back. I've spent several days there on more than one occasion. I love jogging along the eucalyptus trails and exploring the area, including some local ruins and the colorful wildflowers. There's no traffic noise or other tourists to disturb you. It's a lovely place to relax and recharge.

The two large windows have mosquito nets, which makes airing the apartment easy. I'd like a similar net on the bathroom window, though there don't seem to be many mosquitoes around. The apartments are simple but very well equipped, with a small kitchen, a medium-sized fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need. The shower is roomy, and its head has lots of spray settings and works very well. The water temperature behaves oddly: it gets hot, then keeps going cold for short spells. The water is extremely soft, so rinsing off soap takes a lot of water, which feels like an unnecessary waste on top of those cold spells. I also missed having a sink stopper, to keep contact lenses from falling down the drain while handling them. Two dogs and two cats bring life to Quinta. They're affectionate and happy to take treats. The little white dog is overweight, while the German Shepherd is very thin and seems frail, old, and stiff.
