Caparica Beach House

Gorgeous beaches and lovely views, with plenty of good places to eat and have a drink 👌👌👌😍🍺🏄😎🌊

Apartment number 4 was small but arranged really well. It was on the first floor, with no elevator, and had a bedroom with two beds, a compact living area and kitchenette, a table for four, a sofa bed, and a little fridge that cooled amazingly well, freezer included. There was also a coffee maker, though not a Nespresso, a thermos, a smart TV, and decent Wi-Fi. The location worked great for us, about ten minutes from the beach and five from the main street. A tiny supermarket 100 meters away had good hours, and there were fruit shops and butchers nearby. It's a good fit for a couple or a small family on holiday. One thing about the bathroom: the shower was installed well, but its doors are narrow. If you're on the heavier side, getting through can be a struggle. My first day took a lot of sweat and tears.

Parking was terribly difficult, and the place could use more electrical outlets. The appliances themselves were good, with a coffee maker, microwave, and blender, but the washing machine didn't work and kitchen utensils were in short supply. There was also a persistent leak where the electric water heater connects. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed four nights, but the apartment seemed equipped for just four people and was laid out very poorly. The bathroom wasn't adequate, there was no city view, and the utensils were numerous but mostly useless and very low quality. The pool wasn't 200m away as stated, but 2000m away, and it cost an extra €7 per person. We were disappointed, and none of the photos matched the place we actually stayed.
