The team at Ancao Gardens were superb and easy to reach, so we’d happily return and recommend it. Our family of six adults had spotless en-suite rooms, and the villa had everything we needed. There was plenty of space to lounge by the lovely pool, and we rented rackets to play tennis. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and Bold Octopus is one of the restaurants worth a visit. We had a car, which was essential for getting to the shops, about an 8 minute drive away. Ubers were readily available for getting to other restaurants and bars.

The villas were large and immaculately clean, with a great pool area and some sports facilities. The property is amazing and well placed for both vale de lobo and Quinta da lago. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were quick to help and respond whenever we had questions. Our house at Ancão Village was tidy, really clean, and well equipped. We had a brilliant stay and will certainly return.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the terrace gave easy access to a lovely pool that wasn’t too busy. The villa was excellent, with very comfortable en-suite bedrooms. I’d recommend Ancao Gardens.

We had a very comfortable stay, and the service was smooth and efficient. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and well kept, and the pool is spacious and airy. Ancão Beach is about a 10 minute walk away. You’ll need a car, as there are no shops or cafes nearby.
