Hotel Lusitano

There was a strange smell at the entrance, but the staff were friendly and the place was clean. The breakfast arrived an hour late and was pretty bad, especially the coffee. In the room, a huge crack ran through the wall and ceiling, which was a bit scary. You can open the windows, but insulation foam falls out when you do.

We were driving from Santander to the West Algarve, and this made a comfortable overnight stop that split up the journey nicely. For our family booking, the room was spacious, clean, and worked really well. The little cafe bar was great value too. Breakfast was a bit confusing, though it didn’t affect our stay. Excellent value for money.

The room was spacious and clean, though the area around the window clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Breakfast was included and okay, but we had to search for the utensils in the brown drawer beneath the counter. We ended up showing other guests where they were. I’d stay again.

We were checked in late at night after trouble with our campervan, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our baby and dog were welcome, and we had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and both were very large. No complaints.
