We paid €114 per night and stayed for three nights. Nobody came to clean the house while we were there. The kitchen setup was very poor: the stove took ages to heat, and there was no cutting board, strainer, broom, or mop. With kids, food or water sometimes ended up on the floor, and we had nothing to clean it with. One suggestion: at the price we paid for the apartment, entry to the waterpark should be included.

A nice, affordable place to stay in Amarante, about 60 km from Porto.

We'd asked for a double room, but got two single beds, and the mattress was uncomfortable. We only found out after complaining that the water heater held 20 litres. We were caught off guard when the second person had to shower in cold water. They leave bread for breakfast but don't provide a toaster, so are we meant to eat it stale?
