Lua de Caldelas

Breakfast became one of the best parts of our trip, with something different to try each morning, and the food was incredible. We spent seven amazing nights at Lua de Caldelas. Our room was lovely, the balcony views were breathtaking, and the hotel was kept immaculate day after day. The hosts welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home from the start. It felt like walking through a dream. We can't recommend Lua de Caldelas enough. If we return to Caldelas, we'll stay here again. Five stars and more.

The location was amazing, and the host made us feel right at home. Breakfasts were delicious, and dinner was so good that we didn't want to eat anywhere else. The host and his family joined us for dinner, which made it extra special. Thank you, Ziv, for the beautiful scenic route you shared with us. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a lovely extra, and I wish we'd tried the bistro. Breakfast was divine, easily the best food we found in Portugal. We loved staying here. The rooms are beautiful, with thoughtful details and tasteful decor. I especially liked how the art and nature came together; to me, there wasn't a line between them. Thank you, and all the best.

The care Ziv and Karen showed us made this stay unforgettable. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived, and leaving honestly made us emotional. My girlfriend had left important medication at home, and Karen helped us get what we needed. She also went to the supermarket for hair products so she could do my girlfriend's hair for a wedding we were attending, and it looked amazing. She offered to iron my clothes for it too. Each night they warmed the hot tub for us, checked that we were okay, and even brought us food because they thought we needed something to eat. That kind of kindness is rare, and you can feel the love they put into the property and their guests. The place itself is a peaceful, beautiful retreat with lovely views, fresh fruit trees, and amazing sunsets. The hot tub and outdoor spaces added to the relaxing feel. Ziv and Karen deserve the best. If you're thinking of staying here, book it. You won't regret it.
