We ended up spending a few hours sitting, talking and drinking wine with the owner, using Google Translate to help us along. The owners don't speak other languages, so if you don't know Portuguese, you may run into some communication difficulties, as we did. It didn't stop us having a good time, though. If you speak Portuguese or are from Portugal, this is one of the best places to stay. Braga is also worth a visit during your stay, a calm, lovely city for half a day.

Loved it. A beautiful, authentic place that's clearly very well looked after. The service was sweet and friendly, and it was great value.

It’s clean and nice, in an old building that's been fully restored. The atmosphere feels more like a family place than a hotel. Great for a two or three day stay.
