The view in the morning was absolutely gorgeous, and we’d happily use this place again. The house was clean, and when we arrived there was a big basket of assorted food and drinks waiting for us. We’d contacted the owner about an issue and they were excellent to deal with. I loved the rustic look, and the price and location were great too. One snag: we landed late and didn’t get to the house until around 1 a.m. The walk wasn’t lit, so we had to use our phone lights to see the way. Still, I’d definitely recommend it and come back in the future.

What a lovely surprise, and such a great find on Terceira. The house is about a 10-minute drive from Angra de Heroísmo, with a spectacular view of Ilheu das Cabras. It had everything we needed, and the owner was always ready to help. She even gave us breakfast. The house is well cared for, with one private bedroom and a huge dorm-style upstairs room with lots of beds, ideal for a big family. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a barbecue area too. I’d give the value for money a 20. If I return to Terceira, I won’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have picked a better place. It’s right by the sea, with a natural swimming pool nearby and a lovely front-row sea view.
