Everything was super clean and comfortable, and communication was easy. The rooms had all the comforts I expected and were well equipped. I loved the modern, trendy decor, the amazing view and the location right near the city center. My congratulations to the manager, Fábio. I'll definitely come back.

After a delayed, bumpy flight from Lisbon, with our luggage still in transit, arriving here was such a relief. We'd packed an overnight bag, having visited the Azores before. Fabio, the apartment manager, had bread, cheese, orange juice and tea ready for a late-night bite. He'd also arranged to collect us from the airport and was still there with a welcome smile despite our flight being almost three hours late. We'd paid extra for the top-floor bedroom, and the view across town and the bay was magnificent. Fabio called it the best on the island, and I think he was right. The apartment was spotless, bright white and very spacious. It had a sofa, TV and dining area too. The kitchen had very sharp knives and was fine for holiday meals, though I wouldn't want to cook a Sunday roast there. Downstairs there was a Juliet balcony facing the pretty village and sea, plus a large private balcony at the back with a side view of the sea and gardens. The different heights of the gardens and walls made me wish I were still young, slim and nimble enough for midnight parkour. Probably not a good idea, kids! That fantastic view comes with a hill. The steep cobbled street down to town became part of our daily routine. During the day you can take a lovely route through the gardens, but they lock them at night, so if you're late you have to climb the six-foot wall at the bottom. There's a good supermarket about five minutes away and a snack bar or two nearby, while the main places to eat are a 10-15 minute walk down the hill. The hotel, with I think six rooms, also has shared gardens that catch the later sun, and a nice-looking little pool that's more of a plunge pool, with a view over town. I'm not much of a water person, and in November it was a bit chilly for me, though not impossible to use. There's also a large shared screen room and cooking area that would be great for a couple of families travelling together. An absolutely top experience, one of my six-star reviews if I could give one.

People working here are really friendly, and the supermarket nearby makes it easy to cook if you get tired of eating out. The old town is a short walk away. This is our second stay on Terceira, and it still feels like home. The house has been beautifully restored, looks modern and is very clean, with marvelous views.

A beautiful apartment with an incredible view. We loved the courtyard and heated pool, and the living room has a fireplace.

The apartment left such a good impression that we're already planning to book it for next year. We travel a lot, and it's rare to find somewhere with such warm, attentive service. Fabio and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was spotless and felt like a real home away from home. If you get the chance to stay here, go for it. You won't regret it.
