Fernanda was so kind and helpful. Each morning she put out a simple, tasty breakfast, and if you catch her at the right time, maybe there’ll be an omelette too. The bay is practically next door, and I hope to return in summer to swim there. Downtown is about a 15-minute walk, partly along the waterfront, or five minutes or less by car. What an amazing place to stay!

At night you can hear the distinctive call of the cagarro, the local seabird. There’s a small pool too, and the common living room has a dreamlike ocean view. The stay was amazing, with independent rooms and private bathrooms.

The beach is nearby, and so is the center of Angra with its lovely restaurants. The host was very nice, the breakfast was good, and both the room and bed were comfortable. Everything is new, it opened in 2024, and getting in by code meant no hassle with keys. The nearby road makes it a bit loud to sleep with the window open, but the AC is quiet, so you can keep the window shut. I’d recommend it, 5/5.

We left already thinking about when and how to come back. The views are truly amazing, the guest houses are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff are the cutest and so helpful.
