The terrace looked out over the mountains and the ocean, and we spent a lovely week here. The owner was very kind and friendly. He brought us his own rum and poncha, along with eggs and bananas from his garden. It felt like home, and I’d absolutely recommend this accommodation. Thanks for such a great holiday.

A car made getting around much easier, since lots of great places are only a short drive away. The roads are very steep, and the drive up to the house is a bit of an adventure. We got used to it, and there’s a great parking area right in front. Several little supermarkets and a pizzeria are within walking distance too. The accommodation is spacious, clean and has everything you need. The location and balcony views are fantastic. Alberto and his wife were very friendly and helpful, and gave us fruit from their garden and eggs from their chickens. We had a really pleasant stay and would highly recommend it.

You’ll need a rental car because of the location, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday apartment. We spent four weeks here and felt very comfortable. The view over the coast and sea is fantastic, and Alberto and his wife are wonderful hosts. They regularly brought us fresh bananas and eggs from their garden and chicken coop. The apartment has two bedrooms, a living room with a wood-burning stove, and a large kitchen where everything is there and works. The bathroom has a shower and can be warmed with a portable heater. There’s also electric heating in the bedrooms.

The firm mattresses might not suit anyone who likes a softer bed, and some of the furnishings are a little dated. A new frying pan would be great! Even so, the place looks better in person than in the photos. It’s spacious enough for four, and even the two of us felt very comfortable. The wraparound terrace has two comfy lounge chairs, and breakfast came with a breathtaking view. Alberto lives next door but gave us complete privacy. He welcomed us with a fruit basket and fresh eggs, then brought us more eggs later. Casa Daniela is in a side street with a pretty steep incline, so a rental car with a good engine is useful. There’s parking right in front. We had a wonderful week, would book again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it. Thank you, Alberto!
