The hospitality really stood out. Everyone was polite and attentive, with a sense of hospitality unlike anywhere else. The place was clean and peaceful, and the houses were roomy enough for families. They had HVAC, good furniture, a Smart TV, and all the kitchen gear for cooking. Breakfast was delicious, much better than the dull buffet at a regular hotel. I'd absolutely recommend it over a regular hotel and hope to come back soon.

The views were a highlight, and there’s a levada right at the complex, great for walks. The accommodation was excellent and cleaned every day. Breakfast was included, varied and really good. The pool is on the small side, and the water was very cold because of the altitude, even at the end of summer. There isn’t much room on the sun terrace either. If another family got there before us, there was no space left, so we went to Calheta beach instead, which isn’t far away. We chose this for a long family weekend and had a good stay. Check-in was quick and easy, though they didn’t ask us for any documents or our booking, which felt a little odd. Check-out was just as quick, although there was nobody around to see us off. We didn’t really meet the staff during our three nights, so can’t comment on them. Getting there is pretty much impossible without GPS. We couldn’t thank the hosts in person, so I’m doing it here. Thanks! One small thing, the house we were given wasn’t the one listed for us on Booking.com.
