This was the best rural house we've stayed in. Amelia's care was unbeatable, she brought us something every day, from Pastéis de Belém to slices of bread. Many thanks for everything.

The old house has a lot of charm, and the porch is lovely, with plenty of shade in summer. It’s very close to the Espigueiros de Soajo, and the price is incredibly reasonable. The hostess is lovely and leaves bread at the door every day, along with homemade cake, walnuts, and oranges. Everything was great, and I highly recommend it.

It's wonderfully quiet and peaceful here. We were amazed by the vegetable garden, with so many different things growing. The oranges and grapefruits were delicious, though we didn't have time to try the rest. Amelia welcomed us with honey cake and other surprises in the fridge. The house is perfectly equipped for living in, and suits two people, or four if you get along well, since there's only one bathroom.

The views and nature are wonderful, and the location is incredible. The hostess was so nice and brought homemade bread every morning. There was a fireplace, and I slept so well. Perfect for a weekend escape. I'd come back many times.

The hostess was so polite and friendly, and little touches like that really make a difference. It's a unique stay in a very authentic village house. We'll definitely return.
