Eira - Casas de Selim - T1

Casa Mae at Casas de Selim was our favourite place on a long trip through Portugal, and I'd happily recommend it to family and friends. Our four-bedroom unit was in perfect condition and right in the middle of the village. The pool and grounds were well cared for, and the drive into town takes about 10 minutes.

The houses are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, and the service was five-star. Set among the locals in a little town, it's a 6-10 minute drive into Arcos de valdevez. Guests can use the shared pool, which was clean, with enough lounge chairs around it. Evenings were very quiet. I'd definitely stay again.

So peaceful, with nature all around and its sounds in the background.

I think I'll be back very soon. Everything was wonderful, from the kindness and care during the booking and check-in to the stay itself. The place has everything needed for a lovely visit, and the location, peaceful surroundings, and sunshine were all great. The restored houses are an excellent job, with lovely decor and thoughtful details. My only small suggestion, which doesn't change my top rating, is adding breakfast service. I think I understand why they don't offer it, but that would be the cherry on top. Thank you!
