Why do people keep leaving 5-star reviews? It’s been closed for two years and Holiday Inn no longer owns it! Google refuses to take it off the map.

The location is absolutely perfect, with amazing views from the window. My bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were attentive and friendly. My only gripe is that the bathroom looked like it needed updating. Everything worked and the shower pressure was good, but it didn’t look as nice as the rest of the room. It’s a minor thing when you’re somewhere this gorgeous, though. Who wants to stay in the room?
You’re right in the heart of town, facing the beach, and it’s just a 1-minute walk to the sand. The beach was very clean and picturesque, with fantastic walks. The hotel rooms were spotless and mint, and the breakfast and evening meal couldn’t be beaten for the price we paid. There were plenty of sunbeds, so no need to get up at 6am to claim one. One pool goes down to 10ft at one end and the other is 3ft, so they’re not suitable for little kids. Highly recommended.
We especially enjoyed the evenings in the bar, where you can sit facing the beach and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. It closes at 11 pm, so the hotel stays peaceful. We also had a lovely welcome from the very helpful reception staff. Our sea-view room came with an appreciated upgrade to an executive suite, and the extra seating space made a real difference. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though I would have liked an omelette station. There were lots of older guests, apparently on a Saga all-inclusive deal, and they seemed to know how to have a good time. The hotel is right by the beach, and you can hear the sea from your room, so book a sea view. We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
The heated outdoor pool was a lovely extra, though it would have been nice to hire bathrobes for the walk back from it. Getting out in winter felt a bit chilly. We were five women taking a half-term break and had the best time. The location was great, the sea view was worth paying extra for, and breakfast was generous and served with a smile. The staff were absolutely lovely. We couldn’t fault the stay.
