It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, and I’ve never seen a hotel or guesthouse this clean. Everything felt just right. The staff were friendly and offered a welcome drink, plus suggestions for places nearby to eat or grab a snack. Breakfast was very good too, with fresh fruit and bread and nice music. I definitely recommend staying here.

Marguerite, the manager, was so kind and helpful. She arranged a table for us at a great local restaurant and shared tips about the best Quintas. We were greeted with a smile and a glass of Port, and the rooms and bathrooms were lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough!

A characterful and very comfortable place, with lovely shared areas. My suite was spacious, and the bathroom was large and elegant. The price was inexpensive, too.

There were only two other guests when we arrived, but none of the staff even came over to speak with us. The service felt truly rude.

The staff were attentive to every request and really good about the little details. Great service and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
