The Bohemian Place

The food at breakfast was good, and the woman serving it was the saving grace. She was left to handle everything herself, including refilling the trays, and seemed overwhelmed. You have to leave the building to get to breakfast. The guest house itself was below average. A check-in machine meant we never spoke to anyone who welcomed us. Our room was small and nothing like the pictures; the bathroom looked odd, and the bedroom hadn’t been properly cleaned. The cleaning staff seemed overwhelmed by all the rooms. The shower pressure was poor, and the soap and shampoo they said they supplied didn’t last our stay and weren’t replenished. I won’t stay here again, as long as I remember.

There’s free parking about a two-minute walk away, and the place is close to the city center and canals. Our room was small but cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed. Shower water was unpredictable, usually very hot, though the pressure was weak.

This felt like a hostel in the middle of renovations, not a hotel, and was the worst tourist accommodation experience I’ve had. The bathrooms have no doors, as you can see in the photos. The shower kept switching between boiling hot and cold, and I’d skip the breakfast. Zero stars. Stay away.

Perfect for a weekend out of the usual routine. I’ve been once and I’m definitely coming back. Just amazing!
